Terms of Business for Deva Designs Limited
- Payment
- Strictly nett within 30 days from the date of invoice for existing customers with credit accounts. Interest will be charged at the rate of 2.5% per month on overdue accounts.
Please see condition 5 below for new customers.
We understand and will exercise our statutory right to claim interest and compensation for debt recovery costs under the ‘Late Payment Legislation’ if we are not paid according to agreed credit terms.
- No Returns
- All goods delivered shall be paid for as per invoice. No returns are permitted, except in accordance with Condition 9 below.
- Minimum Order
- U.K. MAINLAND:
Minimum opening order £200
Orders over £200 will be sent carriage paid.
Orders between £100 and £200 will only be accepted with credit card payment with order (including VAT and £10 carriage)
OFFSHORE
Minimum order £200
Additional charges on U.K. price list – 10% for higher freight costs.
- New Customers
- No goods will be supplied on credit terms until a credit application form has been completed and processed satisfactorily.
- Credit Cards
- Invoices may be paid by credit card. If within our payment terms i.e. 30 days from date of invoice, Deva Designs Limited will absorb the card charge. However, if the payment is after the 30 days the 1.8% card charge will have to be passed on to the customer.
- Retention of Title
- Title to any goods shall not pass to the customer until payment has been made to Deva Designs Limited of all sums owing to it by that customer on any account.
- Risk
- Risk in goods shall pass to the customer on delivery.
Until title passes to the customer the customer shall indemnify Deva Designs Limited against all loss or damage to the goods or depreciation in their value and shall keep them fully insured.
- Credit Against Invoice
- Any defects, breakages or discrepancies will only be credited if written notice is received by Deva Designs Limited within seven working days of receipt of goods.
- Prices
- All goods will be charged out at prices ruling at time of despatch.
- VAT
- All goods are subject to V.A.T. at standard rate.
- Delivery
- All goods will be delivered within 3 – 5 working days from placement of order, unless next day delivered has been requested. For next day delivery, goods will be received on the next working day.
